Tokyo, Japan – Through cyber attack simulation and practical exercises, we improve the skills and readiness of cybersecurity professionals.

In addition, we aim to strengthen swift and appropriate response capabilities to cyber attacks that are rapidly increasing both inside and outside Japan by conducting cyber security research by professional resources with advanced security technology and knowledge.

In recent years, with the introduction of IoT for various purposes, cyber attack methods have become more upgraded and sophisticated, not only corporate IT systems but also industry control systems that manage devices and equipment are exposed to that threat. On the other hand, it is said that there is a shortage of human resources who can deal with security incidents, etc., and the training of them is an urgent national issue.

By the end of March 2022, IST aims to upbring cyber security professionals who have both knowledge and experience to a scale of 50,000.

We will build a cyber range (virtual cyber practice space) and conduct simulation experience and practical exercises with original threat scenarios created based on the know-how accumulated by Cympire, and develop advanced security professional human resources.

Cympire’s platform is a cutting edge, flexible, gamified Cyber Range that simulates any scenario, network typology or IT system. The platform is Cloud native, which provides unlimited scale and accessibility. It runs realistic defense and attack scenarios tapping to the latest cyber threats and using the most advanced Cyber defensive tools. The curriculum prepares for each level from education of beginners to advanced personnel (advanced cyber security personnel) for certified persons to aim for further improvement.

“We are excited about this new partnership with IST that opens the door for us to the  Japanese market”, said Yaniv Shachar, Cympire CEO. “The 2019 (ISC)² Cybersecurity Workforce Study forecasts a 4M talent gap globally, out of which 2.6M are in the APAC region. Cympire, together with partners like IST, aims to help close that gap. We believe that the positioning of IST in the Japanese market, fits perfectly with our vision  of

“IST Co., Ltd. provides the above security training on online with a SaaS.
